Racism I hope not
Dear Farley,
As a person of colour and a big fan of yours and both Canadian and American Idol but, and I hope I'm wrong, it looks as if Canadian voters are voting off contestants who are different and minorities. First it was Liam (Chinese) and Montana (Quebecois) then it was Mila and Khalila. Now it was Martha (Fillipino) and possibly Matt. If Matt and Dwight are in the bottom two next week then I have to say that voters are choosing not the voices but colour of skin or looks. Again, I hope I'm wrong but if Matt and Dwight (Piercings) are in the bottom two next week then you lost me as a viewer.
Every Idol, both Canadian and American, I have chosen the winner. But this year during the top 22 I chose Matt, Khalila and Liam as the best of the crop but it looks as if my streak will end soon. Its sad that in the 21st century a persons colour of skin will determine who the next Canadian Idol will be.
